The Root Chakra

Muladhara. The first and lowest of the chakras or centers is situated at the base of the spinal column, about midway between the anal orifice and the genital organs. Four red petals (nadias) emanate from it. In the center is a yellow square, which is the earth element. Within the square appears an inverted triangle that encloses the kundalini energy. Kundalini energy has been described as "luminous as lightning, shining in the hollow of this lotus like a chain of brilliant lights."

Ralph Adamson sees the energy of nature as a continuum, and the physical form of life as a translucent vessel. Here, from a particular perspective, he illustrates a parallel between the richness of an ocean sunrise and the power of the kundalini within each of us. As a practitioner, Nicole acts as a channel for the Reiki energy which flows into her clients. Balancing both human and equine energy systems promoting the body to heal its self naturally.

Reiki is totally safe and is a complementary treatment and can not harm you in anyway. It is by no means a substitute for orthodox medicine or veterinary care and can help to treat a wide range of ailments with varying effects from client to client.

If you or your horse is suffering from stress, tension or lack of focus in your work then Reiki energy can help to balance the emotions that hold you in restrictive mental attitudes.

As a teacher of Reiki, Nicole can initiate students into the wonderful world of Reiki. Reiki I and Reiki II courses can be booked upon request. Once initiated into the world of Reiki, students can join in on Reiki Shares; where joint, shared healing takes place for the benefit of everyone attending.

An equine session will take place in the horse's environment with the owner present and free from distractions. Nicole starts the Reiki treatment by scanning the energy points, known as Chakras, the energy will then be directed to where the animal needs it the most. Some horses move away from the sensitive feeling, others may fall asleep or just lick and chew. These are all normal reactions.

Nicole also works with horses in a natural horsemanship manner too, using body language and little contact to work with the horses and the owners to solve stress and anxiety issues. Using pressure and release to get a natural bond and awaken the issues in an organic and fulfilling way. These visits start from £25 for the first hour.
