We would like to give you some advice on how to taste and appreciate our distillates. Whether you prefer a certain kind of grappa, UE or a fruit distillate, use a suitable tasting glass, with an open tulip shape to discover the wonderful characteristics of Nonino distillates. High quality distillates should have a temperature between 10 and 14 degrees and should never be icy. It is important to start with a low alcoholic content distillate and then pass to higher ones. In the sequence delicate taste distillates should be tasted first and then pass to aromatic ones, concluding with aged distillates.
Pour 10ml of distillate into the glass without shaking it, bring it to your nose and smell the most flying part of the distillate, the delicate scents of fresh fruit, berries or grapes. Then shake gently and smell again. Try to experience many different aromatic compounds. Take a deep breath of fresh air before sipping a little distillate. Now you will feel almost an explosion of aromatic tastes with spicy and heating effects.
After drinking the distillate an extraordinary and intense sensation of tastes will accompany you for some minutes.
