You know who I hate?

Those kids that have the anarchy A-sign painted in liquid paper on their backpacks right next to a Blink-182 patch. It goes right on past ironic and straight to just fucking stupid. To claim that you are an anarchist when you are clearly not is bad enough but to not even know what an anarchist IS and publicly proclaim your ignorance is a million times worse.

They should be rolled down the street in barrels full of rusty nails.

Haha Blink 182 have patches?

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Wednesday, 6 November 2002 10:16 (twenty-three years ago)

people with mcshit patches amuse me.
not as much as mcrubbish though. seriously, why would you wear a contraversial patch proclaiming your stance on globalisation and not make it as inflammatory as possible? it's like punk for people sitting on the fence. hilarious.

webber (webber), Wednesday, 6 November 2002 10:46 (twenty-three years ago)

hmmm. i had a punk friend years ago who was the only true anarchist i ever knew personally. unfortunately he blew himself up whilst trying to blow up the 'big brother' complex here in nz.

donna (donna), Wednesday, 6 November 2002 19:28 (twenty-three years ago)

Was that Neil "We have maintained a silence closely resmbling total ignorance of how databases work" Roberts with the "This punk won't see 23 - No future" tattoo? i like that Bill Direen song that may or may not have been about him.

hamish (hamish), Thursday, 7 November 2002 02:40 (twenty-three years ago)

yes that was him, hamish. he was a very nice guy. i dont believe he meant to kill himself at the same time, no matter what the press said about his 'suicidal tendencies'.

donna (donna), Thursday, 7 November 2002 06:03 (twenty-three years ago)

Oh McRubbish is like different to McShit, it's talking about all the rubbish mc donalds produces, while the other ones about how crap the food is. I read them in Crawlspace, they have pollution ones and stuff too.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 8 November 2002 01:44 (twenty-three years ago)

what's the point in having patches proclaiming your distaste for a subjective thing like that?
should i get some heralding a new future with no baked beans? "down with bran"? "too much milk makes me gassy"?

i dont get it

webber (webber), Friday, 8 November 2002 08:17 (twenty-three years ago)

that was just in response to "while the other ones about how crap the food is", by the way.

webber (webber), Friday, 8 November 2002 08:19 (twenty-three years ago)

That one is kinda stupid. Oh it tastes bad boohoo. Patches are stupid in general.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 8 November 2002 09:08 (twenty-three years ago)

Health concerns? "Punks" are really public minded, they love us all even if we are deluded enough to eat McDonald's.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Friday, 8 November 2002 10:50 (twenty-three years ago)

hey webber, put me down for a couple of those milk makes me gassy patches, will ya? and maybe a "i'm not overly fond of eggs" badge.

petra jane (petra jane), Monday, 11 November 2002 23:15 (twenty-three years ago)

How do you know that they don't know what anarchy is?

sundar subramanian (sundar), Wednesday, 13 November 2002 01:19 (twenty-three years ago)

oh come ON! these wee titches sit around talking about smashing the state in their McDonalds patches while they drink their fanta Burger King cups. Today's brand of punks are IRONY FREE ZONES.

petra jane (petra jane), Wednesday, 13 November 2002 19:20 (twenty-three years ago)

Yeah I'm pretty sure the small print on the McShit patches says "Wendy's $1.95 value menu rocks!". Hey there were Blink 182 patches in Crawlspace all the time! I remember once there was a little collection of punks in there drowning in highly controversial patches (Fascism is not your politics? Really? I am sadly mistaken and I guess I shan't be seeing you at the ACT rally after all, snotty boy on ironically rusting BMX!) trying to look like they were totally down with the oppressed underclass and all of a sudden this phone starts ringing and the punkiest punk whips out the shiniest of new cellphones from his pocket and looks all embarrassed. It was good.
