Hi

My name is Maha, I have just been a very fond admirer of Oprah since I was a kid. She is very inspirational , motivator, encourager and a person that give the hope to continue with life's struggles and problems. I have been through a lot in the past recent years and I really would like to ask or talk to Oprah. I want to help people and find myself at a losing battle.

You see, I have a small business and working virtually alone trying to keep up with demands but the problem is there is not one who would loan me the money to go big, I have so much trust and believe that it will take off big time , my business plan in forseeing the future is with this overwhelming but the only this that is stopping me is the financial aspect.

I built this business after falling so hard after losing my entire saving money to a con man who promised me a life. My mum was hopitalised with the trauma of finding out the truth about this fellow. My dad never knew all this happened as my parents were separated when I very young. I was looking after my mother and my brothers.

Oprah I was hoping you could shed so light into my life, some who could help me to make this business happen and I have always wanted to help orphans and the under privileged and never think that I can't because GOD given me the mind and soul to be able to work hard. At the moment I contribute a very small token to charity everymonth but I would like to go further than that and see more happy and lighted up faces in the world.

I hope you can help or if not at least a call to speak to a wonderful women who has done so much good to this world and INDEED making it a wonderful place to live in, to somany people. You are REALLY A LEGEND and your name will live on and on for years to come.................

God will always bless you without you wanting it.....
You are my IDOL

LOVE you

Maha

Dearest Maha,

Not everyone has the courage to reach out to their heroes, and for that we salute you. Oprah would be no where without the amazing positive feedback that millions across the globe give her.

And it makes Oprah strong to know that there are so many women out their who would share their voices with her. Think of the silenced women in Africa, with no venue to voice their concerns -- Oprah, and Harpo Productions, are there to give a venue to these people.

And we could not agree more with you that Oprah's role is to serve as a motivator and encourager for these people, to take them from their dirty rags and let them see what their lives might be like with a touch of riches, or at least a glimpse at what it would take to have riches.

I see that, like many of our viewers, you have a problem. Your problem is a small business that is ripping apart your life because of the hardships of money. Oprah has addressed her viewers' hardships through aggressive giving, such as her 2004 giveaway of nearly 300 Pontiacs to the blessed women in her crowd.

Dearest Maha, we believe that your business idea is in all likelihood very outstanding, and the only way to ever reach a dream is to run at it as hard as you can, to sprint that final sprint at full speed, and to wake up with sweat pouring off you, knowing that the distance you've completed is still only halfway to your ultimate goal.

I relayed your message to Oprah today, and she only had time to hear a few sentences of it, but she has heartwarmed by your message. She said as soon as she returns from her shopping trip in New York, she will consider a longer response to your kind, kind message.

Thanks for using the Oprah/Harpo message board.

Best,

Dana Hendrickson
