Do I trust him?

My husband of 12 years was recently caught having conversations with his ex girlfriend, who caused a lot of trouble in our early marriage...I do not believe there were physical relations involved as we live quite a few states away from our hometown now, but he kept it secret..he said they spoke of our children and their respective happy marriages and that she wished us well and was happy things were working out for us, but I had to find out accidently by trying to resend a picture of our kids from his phone to mine, that he has been sending her pictures of our kids, too. As far as I knew they hadn't spoken in years. He says its innocent, and that is wasn't a secret, I just hadn't asked...isn't omission as good as a lie? How do I begin to trust him again?

Katherine, your post made me think, as many of the other people who come to me asking for advice often do... what part of "mind your own fucking business" do you not understand?
