I have a Shure SM58, but is this the best affordable option for recording vox? Got a big project that needs vocals right now but I'm not feeling very rich at the moment so maybe adding a pop-screen would do?
If not, what should I use? Is there a good option for people on a strict budget? Assume I know nothing BTW...

i've heard good things about the Blue Yeti USB, as far as bang for the (super cheap) buck.

There are two models; USB only and USB/XLR combo.
