Dirtywave M8 (and other trackers)

Dirtywave recently released M8 for iOS. I bought it and am kind of obsessed with it right now. I love how much it can do and also how much it limits my choices. I'm still trying to learn the basics right now, but the potential seems massive. I'm using it on my phone. My iPad and laptop are for bigger environments (and have both been gathering dust for a while due to me suffering from blank page syndrome).

I started out making PC music with Fasttracker2 in the 90s, but dropped it around the time mp3s blew up. Everything got bigger and better-sounding, so what choice did I have? I jumped over to Fruity Loops (now FL Studio) and eventually DAWs, but I could never get ideas sketched as fast with that stuff as I was able to with Fasttracker. I tried relearning various tracker apps over the years (Renoise mostly and a bit of SunVox), but the workflow never clicked with me the way it did with FT2. For some reason Dirtywave is. Maybe it's how great the built-in synths sound. Maybe it's the really well thought out navigation controls. Anybody else?

As someone who made an enormous amount of music on Impulse Tracker BITD, I'm very interested in this
