okay i started this in all fairness out of self-promotion
but if anyone's playing in NYC while i'm home i'd like to check it out as well.

We played Rothko last week. In my experience, they don't card too diligently there. If at all. But then again, I'm an old fux0r of 29.

Also, hey: this Thursday we're playing NUBLU, the "secret" hipster dive on Ave C that spawned the Brazilian Girls and Kudu. We're an awful fit for the place, which is why it's going to be AWESOME. We're on at 10:30. Forests, can you make that one?

I'm subbing with a band for a couple of gigs in Minneapolis this weekend, at the Cabooze on Friday and at the Fine Line Cafe (for a Prince tribute!) on Saturday.

xp cotten: i'd love to come if i can... any idea abt cost / 21+ness?

American Altitude will be playing the above-mentioned show as a duo (guitar and drums). We're going to be premiering some loop-pedal cowboy weirdness.

shit i really want to go to all of these shows, especially since i'm coming home on wednesday. please please please let some of them be 18+ not 21
though i already know rothko is and i'm assuming trash is as well

Cool, I do hope everyone can make it -- I wish I could stay around and hang out in the city more, but I guess that's the reality of touring.

hey thanks hurting, mts. I think NY should be covered. We have a lot of friends that can put us up. Philly is a different story, so I guess the pressure is on to pass the review.

Jordan, how did you get the gig in Switzerland?

Note that if any bands are going through Lexington I can put you up if I'm in town. Even if I'm not, I of several band hostels that could put you up.

When details are confirmed I'll see about some guestlisting for those interested as well.
