Motorcycle Guitar

This is done with a pitch shifter pedal and isn't too hard.

I saw Todd Rungren (I think) on a Meatloaf documentary and he played it as the intro to one of the BOOH songs. Start with the pedal shifting the pitch right down so it's kind of a gurgle and scrape about on the strings making engine noises then raise the pitch as you scrape so it sounds like the revs building up, then as you reach normal pitch break into yr solo.
