noise music software?

is there a how-to for making "noise" musics
with software/pedals along the lines of merzbow, zeni geva?

just get a chain of effects pedals but have the first input not go into anything, get a signal going by touching the open jack and manipulate it with the pedals' knobs, being careful not to blow out your speakers.

Or if any of the pedals have 2 outputs (ie EH frequency analyser), put it at the end of the chain, plug the effect out into your amp and the dry signal into the first pedal's input. squeal away. Also, do a search for 'no input mixer'.

that IXI grainbox prog is DOPE especially if u have some samples hanging around on your comp for it to granulate
