i bowed the low E string on my acoustic the other day and since then its been impossible to keep in tune. i think i killed it. it doesn't show any signs of breakage, etc. what could be the problem? has anyone else encountered this?

The only problem I've ever run into with bowing guitar was getting rosin (sp?) on the string, which can get messy when you go back to a pick. I wouldn't bow my good guitar, I just use my crappy guitar when I want to record bowed sounds.
