I was going to pick up a Boss Bluesdriver, but these seem to be in all the shops. Any thoughts?

i tried out a couple of marshall's current pedal lineup (but not this one) and didn't like them. i think i tried the trem and the guvnor. both seemed lacking for various reasons. bluesdrive is probably cheaper and most agree that it's decent.

Pick up the original Bluesbreaker or the Drivemaster on ebay. They tend to go for reasonable prices, unlike the Shredmaster, which tends to go for about $200 USD.

I'm a big fan of all three. You'd likely be very happy with the Bluesbreaker. Sounds great with humbuckers.

marshall pedals - the switches seem a bit dodgy

Holy shit - it's Geordie Racer! Hello.

I'm not interested in a bloozebreaker any more. My Blues Driver is wonderful.

Hi Dr.C, Blues Driver + a Telecaster is indeed a sweet combo.

In my band compliments are rare. You just kind of figure out your own sound and if it's shit someone'll tell you. If it sounds good - silence, no comment. Last night, during set-up I switched the BD-2 on and cranked out a few Who-type powerchords just to check levels. Drummer : "Wow, that sounds great!" Bass : Fucking hell, what's that pedal" Other guitarist : "that's nice".
