Mathew Jonson talks on production techniques and the music industry

There's a couple of fantastic videos of Mathew Jonson speaking at the Red Bull Music Academy available here. The first vid sees him talking about his production techniques, including how he wrote some of the parts for Decompression and Return of the Zombie Bikers. Really good stuff, and well worth watching. The second vid contains a lot of music industry advice, which I found pretty interesting too.

It's worth poking around the Red Bull Academy site in general. There's a lot of interviews/workshops with some great people there. Theo Parrish, Carl Craig, Legowelt, Ewan Pearson... plus a crapload more. I've spent days watching the vids.
