Big melodic leaps

So it seemed to me this morning that there is a jump of a ninth in Badfinger's "Day After Day" when he sings "Everyday my mind is wound around you." Is this correct? Any other bigger than octave leaps that come to mind?

Depeche Mode does this a good amount; "Useless" features a descending major 7th in the verses and "Shake The Disease" has an ascending minor 10th in the chorus.
