It can be hard getting gigs together in other cities and, I guess, even more so in other countries. We're trying to organise some gigs around the UK and it struck me what a resource we have here.

We run a night every two months in North London, and would be more than happy to put anyone on if they could return the favour, or even just give us a promoters number and a recommendation or whatever. Unless you're shit, of course ; ) We could also put people up if you need somewhere to stay while in town, lend drums/amps etc.

So to get things rolling - we'd love to play in Glasgow on the 17th, 19th or 20th August. Anyone?

Plus gigs in Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin or even New York would be definitely worth thinking about.

I realise it's really easy to get gigs in London anyway, but we don't muck about with all that counting flyers nonsense and just pay a split of the door. Plus we can hopefully provide a receptive audience and we do actually promote the gigs, unlike most promoters you care to mention.

I realise my wishlist of exotic gigs sounds a bit poncey. Preston, Penzance or Portsmouth would all be worth thinking about too!

Anyway, I hope this thread lives! I think this could work.
