Any creative suggestions for a Powerbook stand for onstage? I've seen some pretty expensive stuff out there and I'm looking for any alternatives. Thanks...

No, really. The one time I had a laptop onstage it was resting on a school desk (not the chair+desk ones, but the ones where you can hide books inside). Actually it was on a plastic crate on the school desk. The little keyboard was on the desk itself, I think. I forget now, something like that.

Use a music stand. You can pass your power cord/cables through the holes in the stand. Works for me.
