Hello there,
Can anybody give me advice on the best bang for buck autowah/envelope filter out there?
Any replies greatly appreciated.
Peace

my favourite auto-wah was a kit from maplin electronics (easy to build, by the way and pretty cheap too) - really grungy sound and highly sensitive - really nice on hohner pianet and yamaha cp-20 and oddly enough arp quartet

If you're willing to spend slightly over $100, the Electro-Harmonix Q-tron is a good choice.

The little Guyatone Wah-Rocker is also nice and very cheap as pedals go.

The Xotic Robotalk does not work with my main bass at all. No clue why.

I just got a V-Wah. Ohmigod, I think I'm in love.

But it's not really an auto wah. It's like an auto-wah AND a whole bunch of programmable wahs put together with an actual wah pedal.

Is there a thread about ordinary wah pedals? Though this might be outside the remit of ordinary wahs.
