The only reason I didn't do this is that our most frequent poster '@' is an unreg, and had asked us not to go reg-only. I won't miss spam-killing, but it might have been better if we'd announced it before doing it (which, amusingly, I was going to do later today.) Anyone with issues re: the change can email me.
