Itunes .wav output????

Is there a plugin/hack etc. for Itunes that will make it output a song in .wav format? Winamp does a similar thing - you can change a setting and when you 'play' an mp3 file it will write it as a .wav to the disk location of your choosing.

I'd like to be able to do this in Itunes.

Anyone?

I don't know how iTunes would do that, but I would just use Audacity for this. Audacity will open an MP3 and save as WAV, or vice versa.

There are tons of free programs that convert things.

iTunes can convert mp3s into wavs (or at least into AIFFs).
