Seeing somebody rebuild something that complex is impressive but it's even more amazing to think of the people who originally handmade equipment like that.

two months pass...
He finished the resoration, and has put up a few mp3 clips of it. (at the bottom of the page linked to at the top) The tone of the thing is incredible. It actually brought tears to my eyes! Have a listen, and bear in mind that this instrument dates from 1939/1940.
