Audio interface help

I'm using a KORG PA80 and I'm trying to record onto a new MacBook (GarageBand). I just bought a $200 m-audio audio interface but i've heard since that m-audio isn't a good idea. so i'm thinking i should get something else. any suggestions?

i'm looking to spend 300 or less, 400 max if i save for a while.

anyone who can help me out with some of this stuff in general, pls let me know.

For what you're doing, I'm guessing that the m-audio should be fine.

Which M-audio thingamajig is it?

i haven't actually tried it yet i'm going to tonight -

if anyone has things to tell me about why i SHOULDn'T use an m-audio interface, i'd really like to hear them

one year passes...

taking sides: m audio fast track pro vs emu 0404 usb??

spec for spec they both seem roughly the same, think the only big difference is that the emu isn't buss powered. will probably go for the m audio as it is slightly cheaper. unless anyone can persuade me otherwise? anything even better than these two in a similar price range?
