Vaguely indie-sounding, however I'm steering them ever closer to Amon Duul II with every practice.

Actually, everyone is really nice... Very unusual for a Craigslist-posting band.

One of my drummers quit yesterday. He's bloody good an'all.

This is the second time in just over 12 months that I've been in a band that have been really starting to get somewhere, only for the drummer to leave. Bah.

I have no idea who everyone is!

My band has completely changed lineup yet again. Hurrah! I think it should change lineup for every gig from now on.

I'm fairly new around here anyways, and I'm slightly confused by the new name/login thing on this. I might be sick of this one soon already.

YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH I AM FEELING YOU ON THIS.

I even started a band with a "percussionist" (hand drums and shakers and shit instead of kit) because we agreed that it was too hard to keep a drummer. Guess what he did? He quit.

One drummer quit because I don't know why, he was once a bro but had become an alcoholic douchebag, so not too bothered. The next one quit because he was already in too many bands. Fair enough. The most recent one quit because he didn't like having quiet parts in songs. The percussionist quit because he was too busy fucking undergrads (this is understandable).

ZR and I had a really good session last night. He had some bonkers tremolo double overdrive on completely-detuned guitar going and I was running the beatbox and the sampler/sequencer at different BPMs through this old tape deck I have that has the most fucked up transistorized distortion effect when you plug a line level source into its weird 1/4" "mic inputs" plus the oberheim Matrix 1000 going through a spare overdrive pedal, it was good times. Zack said he actually started to feel kind of queasy at one point plus I had forgotten how atrociously Logan's Run that 8 bank on the OB is.

We need a frontman.

Mark G, Monday, 26 February 2007 14:53 (eighteen years ago)

Ain't had a drummer in years. Drum machines is all where it's at. Give me sequencers or give me death!
