Used prices of boutique fx pedals?

I'm looking to clear out a bunch of music gear a/it's pointless having stuff I never/almost never use b/I want to raise money for a Fylde Cittern. Among the stuff I'm looking at clearing out is a G S Wyllie "Rising Sun" - a hotrodded superfuzz in a fancy engraved box. It's great, but just too much for the way I play. Does anyone know what the going rate for such a piece is, and if there are any better ways of clearing it out that sticking it on ebay?

Just checked through my Blue Books, and no luck on a price. Most of the boutique stuff isn't distributed widely enough to really establish a used value per se (I've been going through the same thing with a couple of Black Box effects here at the shop.) Ebay seems to work great 50$ of the time, and horribly the other 50%. The main thing I've learned is that if there is minimal demand (which is going to be true with most boutique stuff), set your price at your accurate minimum, because you are likely to only get one bid. Also, set a higher buy-it-now in the hopes that someone will come along and just lock it on the first shot.

If you've got more stuff you're unloading, don't hesitate to email me a list and I'll research it for you. I'm odd enough to enjoy this sort of thing.

If the item is dead clean, in perfect working order and something cool, I think shooting for 60 to 70% of what you paid is realistic. You might be able to get more, but it depends on if it is something people are actively looking to find. This at least is about my way of thinking on these things.

The other 2 pedals I'm clearing out are a Moogerfooger phaser and a Crowther Prunes & Custard, both of these are still available, so I can work out a price - 70% of retail/what i paid, whichever's cheaper. The Wyllie doesn't appear to be available anymore, I can't find a price for it anywhere, I guess I'll have to trawl through my old emails and see what I actually did pay for it.

Thanks!

Still available here.

Looks like street is about $225, but if it's out of production, you might want to wait a bit and see if the sharks start bumping the price up on ebay. I'm just glad to figure out why the name seemed so familiar (teh tasty, tasty "Moonrock").
