tabla - please help

The head of my dayan/tabla (the little one on the right) is buzzing and I can't figure out why. I'd rather not have to replace the head if I don't have to. There are no tears in the head. Why would it buzz?

I don't know shit about tablas, but the part of this that refers to "Minor damage to Syahi" sounds like it's worth checking out from your description.

FYI I found the loose particle and superglued it, shit sounds 100% again.
