Playing guitar while walking around C/D?

I have a Pocket Rockit, and it is awesome. Now I will make myself look like a retard by playing guitar EVERYWHERE with bigass headphones on.
I do not wish to look retarded... I am fairly self-conscious of my playing anyway, but this is one way to practice all the time. Right? RIGHT???

Dudes do look kind of ridiculous doing this, but I've never seen a girl doing it so maybe you won't.

I really want one of those for when I am travelling for work and have nothing to do but sit in the hotel room and play guitar.

Once I walked by a blues club and there was a dude walking around outside with a guitar, trying to get people to come in. Took me a second to realize he was playing the solo coming from inside the club.

When I saw OXES at Southpaw, one of the dudes went outside the club and kept playing his part in time with everyone else (and they generally have lots of pretty good walking around with wireless guitar schtick). But that's all in a performance context, I guess.

OK, Jordan, that is pretty awesome. I think.

I think it's a fine line between practicing in public and being a general attention whore, but if you're wearing headphones then obviously there's nothing wrong with it. It's guys strumming acoustics at bus stops or where ever that bug the shit out of me.
