I have a Triton Studio and have no idea how to use it (I mainly want to make Hip Hop beats with it).
I guess I should start with the manual obviously but I was wondering if anyone else has been in my situation and if they had any advice for getting the hang of this thing.
I just joined a Korg forum and I'm sure I'll get plenty of help from everybody there, but I figure it couldn't hurt asking around these parts too...
Thanks!

I borrowed one once and had no idea how to use the sequencer etc.. It had great (and uh sometimes recognizable) sounds, though.

Basically what Jordan said. Every single Triton preset has been used over and over again, especially on hip hop and R&B records, so learning how to make your own patches is a must.

Word, I've kinda noticed that, I should definitely learn how to modify and create my own sounds...

do you start with stock sounds and tweak them?

Man,
Before I learn how to modify sounds (which I have a feeling will take a while), I'd like to buy some quality alternate sounds to upload into this thing...
Anyone know where I can find some really good sounds?
