by this I mean: I want to send it to producers, record labels, or whoever is interested in using songs written by others to be performed by artists they manage. What should I do? Who should I send it to? What should I expect from someone who wants use it? As you can see I'm a newbie and I have no idea. Apologies if my questions are too broad.

at a minimum you will need a publisher, and a very well recorded demo of the song
however, if you're nobody and/or have no pedigree, unless your song melts faces, you're wasting your time

OK, so lets say I have a decent demo of my song. And yes, I am a nobody. Of course I think my song is the shit, but thats obviously not an objective opinion. Is there a place online where I can uploaded it(not myspace) and where people could tell me what they honestly think about it it. Also, where do I get a publisher? What would any of you would do in my situation (having a song you've done and realize you're not good enough to sing it)?

I wouldn't necessarily recommend either, but both will do what you're asking.

Why not?

I mean, if you're desperate for feedback, you'll get some, but it might not be valuable. And on GB you're required to review a bunch of other tracks in order to get yours reviewed. I used both sites years ago and wouldn't bother again, but our purposes are probably not the same. YMMV, may as well give it a shot.
