Does it bum you out that the way most ppl hear your music for the first time is on those shitty myspace streams?

kinda of a lame thing to bitch about i guess, cuz yeah at least their hearing it

but god that shit sounds sooo bad...

What bothers me is that they're most likely hearing it through tinny little laptop speakers. It's always like, I can hear one guitar, buried drums, and way too loud vocals, they all sound terrible, so then I plug in my head phones and it's like, "oh hey there's all this other stuff going and this band DOESN'T sound like forks banging on a shoebox, awesome."

I think for some bands it could definitely work to their advantage, like the Fuck Buttons and No Age.

right now i'm listening through shitty laptop speakers, but at like midnight yesterday, i went into the office to work and found my boss' really nice headphones. all of my favorite pop songs sounded soooo amazing.
