Like a Moog Etherwave into fuzz, chorus, etc.
Even possible?

From the comments:

I had a bunch of reverb and a flanger and such. I had it running through a multi effects processor guitar pedel and then through a keyboard amp with more effects.

Chorus/delay is going to sound good. Fuzz probably will sound like a hedge trimmer or barber clippers.

No way! I saw a thereminist (?) play the national anthem a la Hendrix with a bunch of distortion, and it sounded FUCKING AMAZING. Especially on the low end. It made me want to record him playing a distorted theremin bassline for a rap beat.

Went over to a friend's house on Saturday and they had a theremin which turns out to be impossible to play, as I learned after much frustration. Licked my wounds by picked out "Viva Las Vegas" on the nearby piano. Or maybe it was Brazil.

Somebody else said after their try: "You ought to at least be able to play 'Mary Had A Little Lamb' without too much trouble."

and yet it looks like the easiest thing in the world when you see someone doing it well.
