does anyone have any opinions on Edirol/Zoom/iRiver type portable recorders? it'd be really nice for recording rehearsals, but i also have this idea about recording tracks just using one of these for drums, percussion, samples/field recordings, etc. (and then editing on the computer of course) if the quality is high enough.
