Namm crap, cool weirdo used stuff, you name it, we get all excited and drooly.
Still haven't gotten most of my namm info, so i don't have much to offer as of yet. Had a Titano accordian amp in here (made by magnatone) that was maybe one of the top ten clean guitar tones ive ever heard. 2x12 all tube stereo (!) w/vibrato. on the other very far side of the fence, i just took in a '78 Sunn Beta Lead 2x12 combo, which has psychofuzzo early cmos distortion and is crazy stupid loud and just basically a ton of fun. odd features - speakers set at a 90 degree angle from each other, three independent effects loops. for some insane reason, just as heavy as a twin reverb despite lack of tubes and mongo transformers.

Native Instrument's "Maschine" looks like a fun mix of software with a hardware interface. It is kind of like Battery with an MPC style interface and a few tricks taken from old grid style drum boxes. I'd definitely like to spend an afternoon messing around with it to see how it feels.

holy shit dudes the most expensive vintage amp we have ever had just came in on consignment OMG WTF will report back later but can i just say "all original 1957 Fender Twin-Amp" in about 90% condition. today is awesome. also the 1957 Guild X-550 with case and hangtags that walked in with it is pretty eye-popping as well.

so i acquired a nice h/k 330c receiver, but i still need speakers. some cat on CL is selling some DLK 1 1/2 speakers for $175 which seems steeeeep since i don't know anything about them (other than the fact that they're in excellent condition). i've dug up stuff that says DLK were a local MN brand, and pretty reputable, but is it straight crazyness to drop even close to that on some used speakers? also the receiver is kinda puny, and my living room is tiny

do not know the DLK stuff myself, they were made for Schaak electronics up here by someone, not sure who. reconing could be a bitch, depending on if there is any proprietary stuff going on. best thing i guess would be to try and listen to them and just see?
