yep its good old jjjusten gets bored of all the stuff he has in stock and starts wandering around looking for new pedal lines to amuse him and this has kinda caught my eye. they used to do a lot of half box stuff which was novel but kinda ehhh to me, but theyve gone to a standard budd box mxrish chassis now so i am intrigued.

this one in particular makes my crazy side go oooooooooooh, plus it sounds kinda great in non freako mode as well

i can't tell how much i really want all these. either it's a whole lot, or i just miss all the pedals i had to sell to not starve/wind up homeless 8k miles from home.

that formula no. 5 just sounds super straight up badass

sent an email to these dudes, they appear not to have any dealers anywhere in the middle of the continent so this could be kinda cool i think.

really loving formula no. 5 but wish someone with an approach like these guys would build something more like a champ in a box. that 5e3 sound is really great but i need it RATTY.

can i just go ahead and make this my new pedal dork thread? WHY YES I CAN

so, a new EH shipment showed up today, and outside of my general refill, i got a cathedral and a ring thing.

cathedral does exactly what you expect, but uh hidden awesome feature is the tap for predelay which is also an infinite reverb hold button, very rackmount lexicon vibe. new accutronics sim is pretty good.

RING THING HOLY FUCK. 10X better than expected, outside of finally making a ring mod functional thx to the tune button (so smart) oh shit it is also a prefect tracking tunable harmony thing, whammy dealio, GREAT sounding trem/vibrato, and INSANE NOIZE GENERATOR (no srsly, you have no idea). for just over $200 street. big <3 to mike matthews on this one.

that's a bummer cuz i kinda got my heart set on that F5.

i'm always seduced by pedals that can do crazy ringmodded autonoise junk but when it comes to any actual application, like in a band, it all feels like oil on water to me; i think if i want my guitar to sound fucked up i'm more into wedging something stupid in my strings and and EQing it weird, or chaining up pedals in ways they're not meant to, and etc etc. and like stuff that's designed ~to be weird~ always sandpapers off the actual fuckeduppedness? to my tastes? or probably just biased ears?

i dunno, anyway.

anyone have opinions on MI Audio stuff? i'm always temped to buy a Blues Pro and just be in a ZZ Top cover band with some dads.
