Tell me about tenor guitars

Apparently they are not easy to come by, especially electric ones. I remember I played an old hollow-bodied one once and loved the richer, more cello-like sound. Should I, like, build myself one?

I'm curious about these things too. I think various old-time country performers played them, a Louvin and a Delmore maybe. Also, I think some people who started playing guitar really young started on them because of the thinner neck- I want to say Billy Zoom, but I'll Submit First, Google Later.

I want an electric tenor so bad, but it seems Neko Case has bought them all up.

I like how this one features Predator-like cloaking technology:

ok so the Eastwood is apparently a signature model for Warren Ellis from Grinderman/Bad Seeds and Dirt Three. 23" scale and a single blade neck pickup. weirdo but maybe awesome? Gonna sell for about $500

we are one of five dealers in the US carrying this guitar. It was supposed to show up today for the big launch announcement but hey canada, what can you do. The added bridge mini humbucker is a cool touch.
