As suggested on the "IMM: the album" thread, here is one for people to put up things for remix, be they snippets or more whole things.

To kick off, here's that Regia track of mine from the WDYSLATM thread in its component bits (or at least as many as I could be bothered rendering). It's a 29meg .zip file so it'll take a while to get.

I was trying to convince Kate to send me remix material around this time last year -- by now she'll have vox and all to work with.

I just upgraded my setup and added a bunch of software, so I'm in that period of not working on anything in particular, just toying around to get a feel for new things -- perfect time to play with a remix!

OK people who want to remix my stuff (Lyndskey, Nabisco) - email me your addresses and I will send you a CD disc of the Cubase files. Or, if you can't do Cubase, I can send you .wav files of all the channels?

Or I can send you the original Reason files and some wavs of vocals and you can go crazy with the cheesewhiz!

but i haven't heard any of your stuff... still i guess you're in the uk so you're not going to want to mail to the usa. let me know if there's some other way for me to get the wavs

Kate, I would like to have a stab at remixing some of your stuff, but can't guarentee I can definitely produce something--at least not in a short timeframe anyway... does this bother you? Or shall I email you my address anyway?

Wooo! Great stuff. Cochere - I thought it was too slow for that kind of treatment but it works. Love repositioning of the theremin bit. The Walter one sounds like how I meant that track to be before I started throwing several kitchen sinks at it.

Lynskey-wise I can't decide which half-done version of a "Regia" remix to finish -- the minimalist minor-key electro one, or the perky bongo-reggaeton beach-party version.
