My cousin had a bad case of burning willie every time he peed.... after his trip to Holland.
Two months of penicillin fixed him right up!

Have you tried seltzer?
If for no other purpose than sight gags, it's a veritable tonic.

The DC Craft Bartenders Guild Repeal Day Ball was pretty amazing - about 10 different drinks being served at different stations around the room. Tony Abou Ganim's Tom & Jerry Punch was incredible, as was the Black Pepper Pisco Punch.

What did they consist of (roughly)?

I don't have the recipe for the black pepper pisco punch - I'm assuming it was something like pisco, lime, and simple syrup w/ a topping of thick black pepper foam. There may have been more ingredients.
Here's a Tom & Jerry recipe from Tony Abou Ganim's website, so I'm assuming what he served was similar:
Helen's Tom & Jerry BatterIngredients : * 8 jumbo eggs * 1 ½ cups powdered sugar * ½ teaspoon cream of tartar * Freshly grated nutmeg * Hot waterFor each drink: * ¾ ounce Appleton Jamaican Rum * ¾ ounce Hennessey VS CognacDirections:Separate egg whites and yolks. In a large mixer, beat yolks until thin, transfer to another bowl. Clean mixer and add the egg whites and cream of tartar, beat until stiff. Add powdered sugar and fold in yolks. Mix until batter is thick, but light. In a pre-heated mug, add 1 heaping ladle of batter. Add rum and cognac. Top with hot water and dust with freshly grated nutmeg. Serve with a paddle or spoon.

That cannot be the REAL recipe for a Tom and Jerry.
Not a single cat nor mouse in the mix!

MY home made Bass Ale has at least on whole bass per sixpack.

wheras MY home-made bass ale emits a constant low drone, off-putting to the novice, but relished by those who enjoy the noisier drinks. On special occasions the Jazz Port comes out and then, well, goodness...

On special occasions the Jazz Port comes out
Pardon my asking, but what does it come out of?
― Aimless, Saturday, 13 December 2008 02:04 (fifteen years ago) link
Why, the port saxophone, naturally; a flat G can neatly decant at five paces

I have never seen nor heard a port saxophone but I did room once with a starboard violin.
Horrible horrible screeching noises at all hours of the day.
