needs more options. although including Chinese whiskey was very thoughtful of you.

Aimless, Wednesday, 18 June 2014 03:07 (ten years ago)

for example, you forgot kumis (fermented mare's milk)

Aimless, Wednesday, 18 June 2014 03:09 (ten years ago)

chinese whiskey is a powerful amnesiac and probably like ketamine if i had ever taken ketamine but i have not so it is a special category i think

ledriver, Wednesday, 18 June 2014 03:16 (ten years ago)

i thought it only fair to include tea

ledriver, Wednesday, 18 June 2014 03:16 (ten years ago)

but where is the fair play for kava? for slivovitz? for ouzo? for absinthe?

Aimless, Wednesday, 18 June 2014 03:29 (ten years ago)

not to mention sake, or cognac, or schnapps.

whiskey

do u like green ez & jam (darraghmac), Monday, 30 June 2014 00:16 (ten years ago)

wine buy a very long way, then whisky by a long way, then tea, then beer, then probably a write in for baidu whenever i get around to buying that

Little Saint Hugh of Lincoln (nakhchivan), Monday, 30 June 2014 01:57 (ten years ago)

wine buy probably not the most surprising typo given the amount of unopened boxes of the stuff all over this room

Little Saint Hugh of Lincoln (nakhchivan), Monday, 30 June 2014 01:58 (ten years ago)

also nakh will disown me when he learns of my wine predilections, so I shan't reveal them

ooh i cd do with a bottle of that, 龜

avicii usque ad arse (imago), Monday, 30 June 2014 18:51 (ten years ago)

idk, how low can you go? richbourg or jacobs creek its all intoxicant, most people drink shit wine because they dont want to spend any money on it, its not exactly shameful though

Little Saint Hugh of Lincoln (nakhchivan), Monday, 30 June 2014 19:42 (ten years ago)

worse than that m8

i really like dessert wines, sherries & ports & will usually opt for them over str8 12.5% wine, no matter the quality

tokaji aszu is one of my favourite wines, some of the best wines in the world are sweet or at least off-dry

and oloroso sherry is some of the best value wine you can buy

Little Saint Hugh of Lincoln (nakhchivan), Monday, 30 June 2014 19:48 (ten years ago)

oh god i was gonna mention a formative experience i had with a tokaji

avicii usque ad arse (imago), Monday, 30 June 2014 19:49 (ten years ago)

nothing beats a fine muscat either, however much the name has been tarnished in recent years

avicii usque ad arse (imago), Monday, 30 June 2014 19:50 (ten years ago)

although pedro ximenez will always be my favourite

that's cheek from someone who once finished every drop of alcohol in my flat

avicii usque ad arse (imago), Monday, 30 June 2014 19:57 (ten years ago)

not that there were many drops to start with, tbf, tbf

avicii usque ad arse (imago), Monday, 30 June 2014 19:57 (ten years ago)

theres nothing worse than people who dont know shit about something but have ignorant prejudices about it

this is a good example, when someone realises 'the chablis and the chardonnay grapes were one and the same', a nonsensical sentence but a good example of cognitive dissonance caused when received ideas about 'prestige' products and 'common' ones come into conflict

im quite fond of the pensioners' favourite harveys bristol cream which is cheap sweetened mostly oloroso sherry, would rather drink that than 90% of table wine with an rrp of less than £10

Little Saint Hugh of Lincoln (nakhchivan), Monday, 30 June 2014 20:06 (ten years ago)

bristol cream is a fine drink & its cheapness is only part of the charm
