The bloody traffic round here. So this is the new place eh? Like the decor, but it's a bit draughty. And worryingly full of cats.

Matt (Matt), Saturday, 9 November 2002 02:53 (twenty-two years ago)

which explains why we haven't seen the cheesemeister yet- unless he's not back from the Pleiades or somewhere

Weebleman (StillSimon), Saturday, 9 November 2002 07:52 (twenty-two years ago)

I really hadn't noticed the cats, but now you come to mention it, there is a strange smell in here..... and who's paying for those 26 cans of 'All-rabbit-and-ptarmigan Diddums' that keep arriving from Sainsbury's every day? Whose bloody cats are they, anyway? Not to mention the Grebes.
There was one in the light-fitting in the bathroom this morning.

That's it. I'm withholding my share of the rent until something's done about it. One can have too much of Pussy and Grebes you know.

Pete Andrews, Monday, 11 November 2002 16:39 (twenty-two years ago)

Pussy? Perhaps. Grebes? Never.

Zen Clown (Zen Clown), Monday, 11 November 2002 18:07 (twenty-two years ago)

That's settled then! Zen "looks after" all the Grebes, and keeps them in his own private apartments.

Now. Who's going to take on the pussy problem?

I'm afraid I can't. I have this terrible allergy.

Snertish! There.... I told you.

Pete Andrews, Tuesday, 12 November 2002 10:32 (twenty-two years ago)

well, whilst not wishing to appear forward, I have hordes of cats and would therefore be happy to assist...

( though I am not entirely sure that ownership of cats makes me a pussy expert)

Weebleman (StillSimon), Tuesday, 12 November 2002 11:52 (twenty-two years ago)

I seem to remember Sue had cats that pissed on here neighbours bins.
Oh Sue where art though, Zen Clowns pining is beginning to grate.

Jarlr'mai (jarlrmai), Tuesday, 12 November 2002 15:40 (twenty-two years ago)

I'll take the cats. The more the merrier here. They'd probably end up here anyway. Most of the neighbourhood cats have adopted us, so some free cans of 'All-rabbit-and-ptarmigan Diddums' would come in quiet handy, just let Sainsbury's know about the change of address.

Celeste (Celeste), Tuesday, 12 November 2002 20:25 (twenty-two years ago)

I prompt the interested reader to http://www.daymaker.freeserve.co.uk for pictures of our cats. If there is one thing the net needs its more pictures of cats.

Lynskey (Lynskey), Wednesday, 13 November 2002 13:43 (twenty-two years ago)

In that case. We may need to order a few of these handy cat carrying devices.

Should work with small dogs or large guineapigs too, by the look of it.

BTW Celeste, nobody ever said that those cans of catfood were FREE!

Pete Andrews, Wednesday, 13 November 2002 14:31 (twenty-two years ago)

yeah but we're getting them anyway, and i've not been paying for them, so i figure the mysterious contributor will probably wish to continue with their generosity.

Celeste (Celeste), Wednesday, 13 November 2002 22:32 (twenty-two years ago)

And we've been getting free teabags from the loverly people at Yorkshire Tea. Pity I'm a straight ahead hot chocolate man these days.

I do not need cat pictures. I have cats.

Lynskey (Lynskey), Sunday, 17 November 2002 18:02 (twenty-two years ago)

By the same token, I do not need any pictures of crabs, thank you very much!

Aimless, Sunday, 17 November 2002 18:56 (twenty-two years ago)

Or warts!

Zen Clown (Zen Clown), Sunday, 17 November 2002 19:50 (twenty-two years ago)

Any pictures of girlfriends, or expensive cars gratefully received.

Pooster (pooster), Sunday, 17 November 2002 19:58 (twenty-two years ago)

Well, not a girlfriend exactly, but here’s a happy snapshotof me with my wife of twenty years, Iguanadonna.

Rex (Rex), Sunday, 17 November 2002 22:36 (twenty-two years ago)
