What is the plural of Darius?

Following as an example the pluralisation of Elvis, which I'm told is Elvi, the plural of Darius should, theoretically, be either Dariu (if the premise of the Elvis plural is to simply drop the 's') or Darii/Dariui (if there is some unwritten gramatical rule that the plural of words ending in 's' should end with an 'i').

I simply cannot accept that it is something as simplistic as 'Dariuses'. My personal bet is that it should be Darii, as the plural of genius is 'genii', apparently.

And I was also wondering about a collective term.

I should stress that this knowledge is a matter of some urgency, and therefore most pressing.

Only Latin root words ending "us" use "i", all other words ending in "s" use "es"

Well, how do we know if Darius has a latin root? I bet he does, the lively little firecracker.

Suggestions for collective terms are welcome.
