Matt (Matt), Thursday, 22 April 2004 23:45 (twenty-one years ago)

I found this "O" lying down here. Did someone drop it?

Zen Clown (Zen Clown), Friday, 23 April 2004 01:43 (twenty-one years ago)

Sorry. It's an "o". Wrong glasses.

Zen Clown (Zen Clown), Friday, 23 April 2004 01:44 (twenty-one years ago)

Talk about belt water.

Matt (Matt), Friday, 23 April 2004 07:16 (twenty-one years ago)

I prefer to belt bourbon like a Kentucky Colonel, with both fists and a touch of branch water.

Aimless (Aimless), Friday, 23 April 2004 14:58 (twenty-one years ago)

I can ring a waiter from Baltimore or a wadder from a Baltic republic, but try as I might I cannot wring water from belts.

*Hangs head in defeat. Notices spray emanating from own belt!!*

Michael White (Hereward), Friday, 23 April 2004 15:44 (twenty-one years ago)

My feet are wet

Michael White (Hereward), Friday, 23 April 2004 22:16 (twenty-one years ago)

I had a belt of water once.

I thought it was tequila.

I gagged for a week straight!

Matt (Matt), Friday, 14 May 2004 21:12 (twenty-one years ago)

Belt water. L'eau de ceinture. Riem water. Riemenwasser. Acqua della cinghia. Agua da correia.

Michael White (Hereward), Friday, 14 May 2004 21:31 (twenty-one years ago)

Well there I was.

Must'a bin 'roundabout three year after that uncivil war shit when we wuz all outa work an took to buildin' railroads to the West.
We wuz somewheres south of the mountains followin' this map (under the guidance of this "serveyer" guy who winked all the time) and it was hot as hell and the supply train wuz a week late and the water wuz running out and we could only have a sip now and then and the men wuz startin' ta see things. Strange things. Cletis looked up and said "Mom! How did you find me!" and commenced walking out into the desert.
As we wuz tyin' 'im to the layed track to keep 'im in camp, we noticed that 'is belt was damp.
As I wuz pattin' 'is leg an' tellin' 'im "Everthin's gonna be aright, I felt a drop of water hit my back. "Rain!" I thought, but it wern't rain a'tall. It was water drippin off the loose end of the belt of a huge Chinee gandy dancer.
He had a sleeper on each shoulder, (took two 'normal' men to carry one) and had bent over to get a look at a crazy white man.

Well.

To make a long story short...We stripped 'im down, (took 14 of us) hung 'im over a bucket in the sun and survived offin the drippins until the supply train finely came. (He lost half his body weight but took it in stride see'n as how the "serveyer" would visit him at nite. He resisted at first but after the track was laid, he and the "serveyer" went to live in San Francisco where a 300 lb. Chinee and a girlish white man holding hands and touching each other are commonplace.)

As for the rest of us: We all went to live near rivers or lakes or springs. I......

Damn you Matthew!

I HATE exhuming buried memories!

Zen Clown (Zen Clown), Saturday, 15 May 2004 00:00 (twenty-one years ago)

"Stay on topic for fuck's sake."

Matt,Matt- when on earth did we introduce the idea of relevance?

Weebleman (StillSimon), Wednesday, 19 May 2004 19:55 (twenty-one years ago)

Yeah. What he said. Âîäà Ïîÿñà!

Michael White (Hereward), Wednesday, 19 May 2004 21:25 (twenty-one years ago)

Look, this really isn't hard to follow. All I ask is that you focus.

Matt (Matt), Thursday, 20 May 2004 17:06 (twenty-one years ago)

Lab wetter. Beet trawl. Blew tater. Better awl.

Michael White (Hereward), Thursday, 20 May 2004 17:25 (twenty-one years ago)

Let wart be! El Web Tart.

Michael White (Hereward), Thursday, 20 May 2004 17:27 (twenty-one years ago)

"All I ask is that you focus."

One of a set of Swedish twins once said that to me. I smiled and dropped them off and concentrated very hard on my driving.

For all these years, I have wondered if I may have misunderstood.

Zen Clown (Zen Clown), Saturday, 22 May 2004 00:10 (twenty-one years ago)

C J (C J), Monday, 24 May 2004 21:04 (twenty-one years ago)

Are you sure her conservatory is piped with lead? It seemed so much more pliable when there I tarried.

Michael White (Hereward), Monday, 24 May 2004 21:10 (twenty-one years ago)

Miss Muffitt eating a bowl of spiders.

You need some belt water, then.

Alas.

My imagination regarding belt water is exhausted.

I hereby call forth...
