for once a true story: ever wonder what happens to the tens of thousands of lab rats used up every year. well, "rudeware" of cary, north carolina buys about five thousand carcasses per annum for comversion to "dining novelties." specifically, rudeware skins the bodies, dries them, impregnates the pelts with starch sizing, presses them onto forms at high pressure, then coats the finished product with a thick layer of "long-molecule acrylic resin" for "hygiene and long wear." the result is pressed rat hide plates, bowls, saucers, tumblers, steins and shotglasses. they are repulsive beyond all measure, but "guaranteed for life." they also make some kind of beverage.

it just gets weirder. twenty minutes' ago i had an email from a slacker dude and his whore. getting married it seems (so he can get the methadone too), and registered at rudeware. nearly coughed up a roach.

Maybe you should invest in a bong.

I used to buy frozen X-labrats by the 20lb case....delivered to my door,FedEx, by a company called Mice on Ice....to feed to my snakes.

Here's a tip....do not thaw them in the microwave....
