The Mindless Prattle forum has entered that vestibule of oblivion known as the Google cache. Shortly it shall be interred in the Happy Acres Cemetary, Masoleum and Potter's Field, (subsection R6: reserved for Beloved Hamsters, Goldfish and Internet Forums), there to rest forever in a heap of mangled bits.
Adieu, Mindless Prattle. Vaya con queso.

"Houston? We have a problem!"
― Zen Clown (Zen Clown), Wednesday, 25 August 2004 01:58 (twenty years ago) link
Of course, we were just uninvited squatters in Abbie's forum, on a creaky old server, at the suffernace of a superannuated Samoyed-hugger. We had a good run.

I must go. I am crying like a child. Between the tears and the snot, my keys are slippery.
WAIT! It just occured to me, (I'm a little slow) that if we would not have come to this server, WE would be down the tubes too!
Oh, god. Could it be that we should be grateful to Sean? Naw. That was a dumb thought.

I, who only recently discovered that venerable den of inconsequential muttering, am disconsolate. May flights of angels sing MP to its rest, though admittedly that doesn't sound too restfull. Much much cheese to you, MP.

MP, albeit mysteriously absent for the last few days, now appears to have returned to us after its summer holiday

Mindless Prattle IS back on line. Um...Aimless? May I just make one little comment?
LIAR, LIAR, PANTS ON FIRE!!!

Although I am beyond such trifles, I hang my head in the simulacrum of shame. My evidence for believing MP dead and gone can be summarized briefly:
1)Phillip Greenspun's home page was up and running as smoothly as diarrhea through a POW at the same time as MP was tits up. 2) The site map available on Phil's page showed no trace of LUSENET anywhere. 3) The Search function of Phil's site, while apparently allowing the user to specify searches of 'discussion groups only', returned no results, whatever search key was used.

Zen you are gonna hate Thursdays!

Are you "hacking" on me?
Although I am very good at sexual bribery, I think it was the mention of Thai sticks that brought Phil around.
This is all very simple. He left the house to get some cat food and forgot where he lived. While he was in Oregon trying to have sex with a beaver, the electric company shut him off. Everything is alright now. The power is back on, the cat has been fed and his wife has come to love beavers. (She was jealous at first but now realizes that besides satisfying her beloved husband's sexual needs, they have the potential to be a very warm coat.)

As long as some of us are alive (You know who you are...)This forum, as well as others, will survive.
I live on the 'net.
If I didn't have these forums to play in, I would fuck my monkey one last time and cut my wrists with a sharpened credit card.
― Zen Clown (Zen Clown), Friday, 24 September 2004 00:23 (twenty years ago) link
Before you do that messy wrist slitting thing, I have a favor to ask of you.....
Since you won't be around much after that, and the bills that come in afterward won't matter anyway......
How about you put that credit card to good use and max it out ordering fun stuff for me like alot of new computer parts, blank DVD's, blank CD's, a case of Jack Daniels, a case of Bacardi 151, a case of Wild Turkey, one of those Strawberry wine cooler things for the wife. Oh, a bag of pretzels would be nice too if it's not too much trouble.
THANKS!
See ya on the other side.......

I've called "Dial a Date" and spent all my money on three whores to fuck my brains out. Due to my limited brain power, that won't take long. I should have just asked for one. Oh, well...the other two can watch while I cause their friend to be breathless, totally overcome by lust while I competely dominate her body and soul.
I am an incredable person.

Matt thinks he's John Wayne. That's a step up, actually. He used to think he was Shirley Temple.
I think if I would have heard him sing "The Good Ship Lollipop" one more time, I would have screamed.
