I’ve just been doing a bit of research for a post, which I have since abandoned, and in the process stumbled across the strangest of coincidences. I found a story
floating in the cyber-void, which had it not been set in space, is pretty much my life at the moment.
Its about a man aboard a spaceship called the USS Ormskirk who is torn between two women, Kathryn and Caroline. The exact predicament I am currently in, with names and all. I swear this is all true.
Anway I’ll post a few quotes, which I think are a bit to scary.
“He was drunk, waves of ecstasy had coursed through his body and left him reeling…” Oh god its all to real!
"Don't worry. When we're on the Ormskirk in a month and travelling in deep space in the Gamma Quadrant, Dr. Karkoff, you can beat me at many games of chess, while I'll box the snot out of you." I think Dr.Karkoff is Lynskey. Im gonna kick the shit out of you Lynskey (allegedly).
"Computer, open subspace communication with the USS Ormskirk, Gamma Quadrant.." Ormskirk once again calling out for its much wanted broadband access
”But Kathryn Janeway was clearly not Caroline Meissen” Ok, so the second names are different.
There are many more but I cant be arsed. Anyone that knows me or our collective will vouch for the fact that its all a bit odd. The town, the drink, the drugs, the chess, the girls.
So basically, rack ‘um up. Go in search of your very own life story and post them here because by the looks of things its all already out there.

Deep Space Robin. Who'd've thunk it. Like it says in the "about Lynskey" section of my website:=
"Since time travel became as easy as hopping between ursa's minor and major, warfare has changed totally. The battle going silently around you is about re-embelishment, about layers of time rather than a straight line of it. You keep going back and changing the past, it ends up like an onion".
This is all probably interference from to many switches. Like the "We don't know where we are . . . " line from "Station Valentine". Data analysis has shown that it is not part of the original recordings, that it was placed there some 500 years later.
The plot thickens. We may be under attack.

Ooops sorry, that URL had a page break on it, just take it off and it should work.

Call me old-fashioned, but I must have been left on a time strand where time-travel was never invented. And why do they have to be
parallel universes? The idea of angular regularity is surely just a human conceit? Why not radial universes, separated by 1/Pi^e radians?
Right angles - pah! They're just as politically incorrect as anything else. Who gave those ancient greeks the prerogative to divide up our so-called "circles" anyway? Bollocks! Another cubic quintiyard of beer over here please barperson.
