I miss my beard.

I shaved it off recently. My upper lip is now cold and lonely.
It will grow back eventually, but it wont be the same.

It will be a different beard. Already, I can feel the stubbles, and I can't help but wonder if I will get along with it like I did my old beard!

But what if this beard doesn't share my interests. What if it wants to watch interperative dance when I want to watch headbangers ball. what if it likes chicks flicks, over art films. what if it prefers hockey over soccer.

My old beard and I loved all of the same things. Well, mostly. It preferred basketball over soccer, but I could live with that.

Do you run a beard hire company, Geoffrey? That's awfully enterprising of you! There must be tremendous trade to be had in police identity parade work, or helping criminals disguise themselves, or that fetish where men want to shag bearded ladies (I can't remember the technical name for this).
