The observation of the intended alliteration was as expected but you seem to have overlooked one tiny but glaring detail.

The alliteration wasn't only the letter b but a combination of BOTH the "b" and the immediately following "e".

A feet which increases the difficulty level but a factor of no less than ten fold.

If I had been able to come up with "bedraggled" that would have been a 10 word, ten fold, double alliteration, coherent sentence bonus of who knows how many points. Millions, maybe Billions!

As it was I had to settle for a paltry 250,000 points.

Hardly worth the effort but a nice diversion from work!
