St. Patrick's Day: Ripped From the Headlines!

I imagine there is a headline in some form somewhere that reads "Today St. Paddy's Day" or some such blatherous bit of bumpf lacking a proper verb. I simply want to extend to all my fellow drunkards my wish for a happy St. Patrick's Day, knowing in my heart that their happiness is all I need, provided I already have a skin full.

I spent my evening watching the least Celtic of Celtic acts perfom rousing squalls of feedback in the pub. The intended Irish Rover turned more into something by the Jesus and Mary Chain. I got quite drunk, as it happens.

St. Patty's day here was celebrated by decorating alot of black and white cars with rotostroboscopic red and blue lights.

They lined the streets with them in the evening and had people stopping by them doing weird dance routines....... standing on one foot, then walking, then touching their nose with alternating hands, etc..... like I said, weird stuff. I never got close enough to hear what music was playing.

Kinda makes me glad I'm not Irish because I hate dancing.
