What's with the drawer in the back yard?

Last week Jim had some expensive computer hardware delivered by Parcel Force. He and Robin were at work and I was sleeping off a drinking binge. Upon coming downstairs I found one of their delivery notes which stated simply that the parts were in our back yard hidden behind a discarded drawer. The initial question: how can Parcel Force be so staggeringly inept as to basically hide stuff behind wood? Soon gave rise to a new, more urgent and key (as our ILE neighbours would say) question. Where the fuck did the drawer come from?

An even greater question could be why were they delivered to my house when I asked for them to be delivered to Lynskeys house?

But yes where did the drawer come from, and why does it cry at night?
