But the relevance of the information isn't factored in here. All of us have massive amounts of DNA coding that will never do anything at all, not now and not ever. At least we hope not, or else we're going to grow gills. That's not a big boon to living in air.

Meaning: more DNA does not at all mean ore useful DNA.
