ILTMI guidelines

Okay, if we're really want people to post freely about sex-related stuff here, I think there should a few guidelines about modding the board. I would suggest the following:

* The basic ILX guideline against personal attacks should obviously apply here. If someone wants to post about some confidential sexual issues, mockery and other personal insults towards him/her shouldn't be tolerated.

* No illegal stuff, i.e. no kiddie or animal porn. I think cartoon furry porn is okay though. Also, I think any rape and violent sex fantasies should be deleted too (even if they're not technically illegal), but discussion about consensual S/M practices should obviously be OK.

* Mods should never reveal the identity of anonymous posters even if we can see the IP addresses.

Would you agree with these?

Personally, I don't find cartoon furry porn appealing, but I see no reason why people couldn't post such pictures here, since they involve no real animals.

I really, really REALLY, do NOT want to attract furries here. Seriously, the fuckers are like internet kudzu.

I'm not "repping for furry porn", I'm repping for free discussion on any sexual practices that aren't harmful to anyone, whether or not most people find them "weird" or "perverse".

1) Absolutely. Zinging and personal insults will not be tolerated.

2) Yeah, I think if it's legal, it's fair game. (Your mileage may vary depending on what is legal in your part of the world.) I don't specifically ever want to say "No x" but would prefer if all the aspects of human relationships were covered - the normal, ordinary stuff as well as the wild, out-there stuff that gets the LOLs.

3) Agree, with this caveat - if someone is using the anonymity of this board solely to attack other posters, I will yellow card them, and if that doesn't work, call them out. But ONLY in that circumstance. I will not do this without at least consulting other mods.

I'm hoping that the OMG WTFness of this place will wear off shortly, and that posters will try to behave like responsible adults - or delightfully irresponsible adults as the case may be. This place is deliberately not just about sex but about all aspects of human relationships.

And all aspects of gross stuff.

Gross sex stories are going to be the apex of this genre.
