Um, Houston? We have a problem.

This board pretty much only exists in the state that it does because of Tuomas. And now he's been suggest banned?

If he is actually permanently gone from the site, I really don't want to carry on with this board.

I can't fill the Finn's mighty shoes, but I'm happy to go on asking socially impolite questions about sex organs and bodily functions because IL TMI will always be several cuts above Yahoo Answers. In my opinion the (I hope) temporary absence of Tuomas should be seen as a challenge to release our own inhibitions and ask the TMI questions that need asking! And--provided we have answers--answering them with all necessary information AND THEN SOME, because TOO MUCH INFORMATION is what this shit is bout iirc.

Hi, this is Tuomas posting under a fake account. I just wanted to say that even though I'm banned, for some reason I still have my mod privileges, so I'm still able to moderate ILTMI (even though I can't post anything). Kinda weird, but I guess it's just some glitch in the code. Anyway, if my banning is gonna be temporary, I can still keep an eye on ILTMI while waiting to get unbanned. But if I'm banned permanently, you should just go ahead and choose another mod for ILTMI. I'd like to see ILTMI carry on anyway, whether or not I'll ever return to ILX.

Unfortunately I have no idea whether my ban will be temporary or permanent. I guess it's up to the site mods to decide.

Welcome back, I don't understand either.

Finland was behind 9/11 and has WMDs.

Just to make it sure, I'm not really planning to return here under this fake user profile. (So no use in suggest banning it, Enrique.) First of all, my home IP address was banned too, so I can't even use this profile except at work. More importantly, I think sneaking back here under a fake profile would be cheating. If the mods think my banning shouldn't be permanent, then my real profile will hopefully be unbanned one day.

TUOMAS, PLEASE KEEP POSTING. FIGHT THIS.

I understand why you don't want to stay somewhere you were banned from (I had a similar experience on another forum recently - where one mod threw a tantrum and kicked me off) but it is completely unreasonable, what has happened and it's total bullshit.

Sorry, I don't think creating fake profiles and trying to sneak through an IP ban is the proper way to "fight this". I too think that what happened was unreasonable, but I have no problem taking a short break/cooling period from posting to ILX, and I hope my real profile will be unbanned eventually.
