I like music, but not other noises (definitely not TV). And the music should be appropriate for sexing, so no free jazz, tunes with children singing, or 100+ BPM techno. I have no problem with silence either though. If you're doing it in the middle of the night, music is usually not an option if you don't want to disturb the neighbours.
